Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the EU’s Eastern Partnership region have the potential to create jobs and drive economic growth. Obstacles such as limited access to finance, burdensome legislation and difficulties entering new markets are hindering their progress. The European Union’s EU4Business breaks down these barriers with finance, support and training to help small businesses realise their full potential. EU4Business support is delivered together with other organisations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.



  • Training on e-commerce in Azerbaijan
    18/02/2019 to 22/02/2019

    More than 25 companies in Azerbaijan, beneficiaries of the EU4Business Ready to Trade project, will participate in a five-day training on e-commerce taking place on 18-22 February in Baku. 

    The training is organised by the International Trade Centre (ITC), together with AzExport and ICT Development Fund. 

  • Start-up Boost Weekend

    The EU4Business SMEDA project is supporting the fourth Start-up Boost Weekend in Armenia from 22-24 February, 2019. This time, the weekend will be held at the Yerevan State University for around 120 students from a total of 6 partner universities.
